Keep It Under 90!

“Keep it under 90!”
That’s what my friend had said
Cuz, in Halifax County,
A speeding Yankee’s dead.
Did he speak from experience?
Well, guess I shouldn’t say.
But when he’d topped that knoll at 90…
Still relives that day.
There’d been no trite discussion;
No option to explain.
And still, today, those flashing lights
Are spinning through his brain.
What lesson had he learned there?
He learned on judgment day,
There’ll be no second chances.
And it’s not far away.
The Holy Spirit’s calling;
The saints echo it, too.
“Come quickly, Lord! We’re ready.”
So friend, I’m asking you…
Are you ready?
“And he said to me, ‘Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book,
for the time is at hand.  He who is unjust, let him be unjust still;
he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still;
he who is holy, let him be holy still.’ Jesus testifies to the Churches
‘And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me,
to give to every one according to his work.”
Revelation 22:10-12 NKJV
