Fuller Than Full

“God is not a glass half empty, or even a glass half full.
He is the All in All, to the rim of your life. Then more.”
*Jennifer Dukes Lee

God’s glass is not half empty,
Nor is it just half full.
When He pours out a blessing,
It tends to overflow.

Sometimes He’ll shake and press down
To make some room for more.
And when He does, there’s surely
Some greater grace in store.

So next time someone asks you,
“How do you see your cup?”
Since God’s the one who filled it,
You know He’s filled it up.

Just look at it through His eyes,
And you will surely see
A glass that’s even fuller
Than full could ever be.

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
may have power.. to grasp how wide and long
and high and deep is the love of Christ…
that you may be filled to the measure
of all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17b-19 NIV
