“Moses returned to the LORD and said, ‘O Lord, why have you brought trouble
upon this people? Is this why you sent me? Ever since I went to Pharaoh
to speak in your name, he has brought trouble upon this people,
and you have not rescued your people at all.’"
Exodus 5:22-23
Things may get even worse before they’re better.
My friend, will you have faith enough to stand?
Or will you, in discouragement, lose heart,
As you are put to task at Satan’s hand?
Deliverance is on your very doorstep;
Obedience and faithfulness are key
To knowing the Salvation of the Father,
Who will deliver, when it’s meant to be.
Oh don’t lose heart, my friend, if days grow darker.
The clouds may, for a time, obscure the Son;
But He’s still there, and has a plan in place
For when and how your trial will be done.
So cling to all the promises He’s given.
Remember that He’s faithful, and He’s Love.
And look not at the storm that’s all around you.
Instead, keep your heart fixed on God, above.
"He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD."
Psalm 112:7
