Hideaway

“I will put you in a cleft in the rock
and cover you with my hand…”
Exodus 33:22 NIV

Let the world fade away, today,
With its worries, its pain and stress.
Come to Me, child. I’ll give you rest.
Find in Me a safe hideaway.

In the cleft of the Rock, I’ll protect you
As the storm winds continue to blow.
And it’s there, child, you’ll come to know
How My grace can help see you through.

Stay with Me till the storm passes by.
Let Me be your safe haven this day.
Let Me wipe sorrow’s tears away
As I sing you a lullaby.

Rest in Me. I’m your sanctuary.
I’ll restore all the broken and torn,
All the weary, and wasted, and worn.
I am here. Hide away in Me.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 NIV
