Stop, Look, and Listen

“No longer do I frantically search for God’s will;
I frantically search for God.”
*Priscilla Shirer

Stop the frantic searching for
What God would have you do.
And look instead for God Himself.
He’s waiting, now, for you.

And then when you have truly found Him,
Listen to His voice.
The Holy Spirit’s there, inside,
To guide you to His choice.

So if you want to know God’s will,
Then get to know His heart.
For there, my friend, is just the place
That God would have you start.

“And you will seek Me and find Me,
when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV
