“God doesn’t expect me to fix everything.
But I can do something about the very need
God puts on my heart.”
* Jeanine Ferenczy
God isn’t asking me to save
The whole, wide world today.
He’s simply giving me a task
And wants me to obey.
It may seem insignificant;
So many needs abound.
But for today, perhaps there’s one
Whose life might turn around
If I’d just be obedient
In what God’s called me to;
If I, in love, would just reach out
My hand and follow through.
No, I won’t likely save the world;
But I can do my part
By list'ning to and doing what
The Lord lays on my heart.
And that will be the perfect love
Of God at work in me,
Changing lives, just one at a time,
But for eternity.
“Everyone should look out not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.
Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus,”
Philippians 2:4-5 HCSB
