Choose Life, Choose Me!

You may not see my form, quite yet.
But there is One who does.
He sees my beating heart, and I’m
A child of His love.

I may not have a voice, quite yet;
But Jesus knows my name.
And though we haven’t met, yet,
I’m alive here, just the same.

My tiny toes and fingers will
One day be much like yours.
Each day my heart beats stronger,
And I grow a little more.

When you learn that I’m here, I will
Already have a soul.
And from now on, I’ll always be
Part of what makes you whole.

I am a gift from God, you know,
Regardless of my start.
And I can be, to you, a salve
That soothes a wounded heart.

So now that you have listened to
My little, pre-born voice,
I hope you’ll let me help you make
A life for me, your choice.

God already has!

“For you created my inmost being;
       you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
       All the days ordained for me
       were written in your book
       before one of them came to be.”
Psalm 139:13-16 NIV
