May I reflect Thy glory, Lord,
As earth and sky with one accord
Are mirrored in a glassy sea.
Lord, may Thy glory shine in me.
And may I bear Thy light, today;
Just as the moon and Milky Way
Reflect the sun, in darkest night.
Lord, may I, too, reflect Thy light.
Then, Lord, may I reflect Thy grace,
So others see Thee in my face.
And in a mirror, may it be
Thy face, Lord, looking back at me.
“We all, with unveiled faces,
are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord
and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory;
this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 3:18 HCSB
